How long can I obtain permanent residence status in Europe after immigrating to Malta?

On July 4th, 20 17, the Maltese Immigration Bureau issued the latest Maltese immigration policy, as follows:

1. Adjust the age limit for accompanying children: relax the age limit for dependent children;

Original policy: the age of accompanying children is limited to 18-26 years old. Anyone who is unmarried and financially independent can apply.

New policy: as long as the accompanying children 18 years old or above, unmarried and financially independent, they can apply for affiliation.

2. The number of applicants has increased: the detailed application regulations and additional application fees for subsequent applicants have been increased;

Old bill: There is no mention of the follow-up placement of all family members.

The new policy: the number of affiliated applicants has been increased, as well as the detailed provisions and extra fees for subsequent applications, so that the permanent residence status of children after immigration has been properly guaranteed.
