Let's not say whether the story of "killing people in Hunan Street" is true or not, just say "tearing Jiangxi and filling Hunan". In fact, the occupation of Hunan by Jiangxi people did happen in history, but it didn't just happen during Zhu Yuanzhang's period.

According to Youxian dialect, "Jiangxi has the largest number of immigrants to Youxian, but the most concentrated one is at the end of Yuan Dynasty."

The origin of 46 clans in this county was recorded, among which 14 were from Jiangxi, mostly from the end of Yuan Dynasty to the beginning of Ming Dynasty.

As can be seen from the above two books, Jiangxi people immigrated to Hunan mainly at the end of the Yuan Dynasty.

So is Changning bloodbath true?
