Does anyone know the story of Late Autumn by Tang Wei and Hyun Bin? What is the prominent theme? What do you want to express? I don't understand ~
Late Autumn is adapted from a classic literary love novel of the same name directed by Lee Man hee (1966). The film is set in Seattle, USA, and tells the living conditions of the second generation immigrants in Asia. Anna (Tang Wei Tang Wei), a second-generation China immigrant from Seattle, is sentenced to prison for killing her husband. Seven years later, because of her mother's death, she got permission from the prison authorities to go out for a few days, so Anna got on a long-distance bus and came to her hometown Seattle, where she was a second-generation Korean immigrant (Hyun Bin). A handsome man came to borrow money from Anna, who was also Asian because he didn't have enough money. In this way, two people living at the bottom of American society met in Seattle and began a simple but tortuous love.
