Brief introduction of Shijiao town

Shijiao Town is located in the middle of Fogang County. Because there is a Shilin Temple on the west side of the station, the dialect "side" is homophonic with "corner". Hence the name. In the 18th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (18 13), Wei Town was formed. Shijiao Commune was established in 196 1 year, changed its district in 1984, and established its town in 1986. The town (including Yangjiaoshan Forest Farm) covers a total area of 388.52 square kilometers, governs 17 administrative villages and 6 neighborhood committees, with a total population of1/0.6 million people, including about 60,000 agricultural people. Shijiao Town is the seat of Fogang county party committee and government, the political, economic, commercial, cultural and information center of Fogang county, the center of urbanization and industrialization, with concentrated population and active trade. It is 78 kilometers from Shijiao Town (county) to Guangzhou along the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, 66 kilometers from the county seat to Qingyuan, and about 52 kilometers from Huadu Baiyun International Airport, with obvious location advantages.
