The origin of the name of Daya family

According to the oral history and legends of Adaya people, Adaya people used to live mainly in coastal areas and along the coast of Sungai Kapuas, the longest river in Borneo. Later, due to the migration to Borneo, the Adaya people gradually moved inland, mainly living in the upper reaches of various rivers, so they got the name of "Hollanda Yake", which means "people in the upper reaches".
