How to apply for a tourist visa to Korea?

The Korean visa processing process only takes three steps:

1, prepare visa materials;

2. Submit visas to the embassies and consulates of China and South Korea;

3. Get a visa.

The specific steps are as follows:

Step 1: Prepare visa materials;

Please refer to the website of Korea Visa Center to apply for a visa. If there are materials that cannot be submitted, they can be replaced by materials that prove the reasons.

-Visa application forms, invitations and other fixed-format materials can be downloaded from the Korean visa application form page;

-The application form should be filled in in detail item by item, and the telephone number that can be contacted at any time should be filled in and signed by myself (any false content may lead to refusal).

-Short-term visit (C-3) Visa applicants can only fill in items 1 (personal information), item 3 (passport information), item 4 (contact information) and item 9 (access information) of the application form.

-The invitation letter shall record the basic information of the inviter and the invitee, contact information, invitation reason (purpose), invitation time, and compliance with relevant Korean laws and regulations during their stay in Korea, and shall be signed and sealed (the invitation letter does not need to be notarized).

Step 2: Submit visas to Korean embassies and consulates.

In principle, visas should be handled at the visa office of the consular district where the applicant's household registration is located. Visa application time: Monday to Friday 09:00- 1 1:30.

Korean embassies and consulates in China are as follows:

-Embassies in China: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region and Qinghai.

-Consulate General in Shenyang: Liaoning Province, Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province.

-Consulate General in Shanghai: Shanghai, Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

-Consulate General in Guangzhou: Guangdong, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Hainan and Fujian provinces.

-Consulate General in Qingdao: Shandong Province

-Consulate General in Chengdu: Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces.

-Consulate General in Xi: Shaanxi Province, Gansu Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region

-Consulate General in Wuhan: Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces.

-Consulate in Dalian: Zhongshan District, Xigang District, Shahekou District, Ganjingzi District, Lushunkou District and Jinzhou New District (Jinzhou District, Development Zone and Bonded Zone) in Dalian.

Note: To apply for a marriage immigrant visa (F-6), you need to make an appointment by phone in advance and submit the materials in person at our embassy or consulate.

Step 3: Get a visa.

Collection time:

Embassy and other consulates in China: Monday to Friday, 14:00- 17:00.

Shanghai Consulate: Monday to Friday 14: 00- 16: 30.

note:

(1) Tourist visas can only be applied through the designated travel agencies displayed on the website of Korea Visa Processing Center. At present, only the Korean Consulate in Guangzhou can allow individuals to apply by themselves, and all other consular districts must apply through designated travel agencies.

(2) If the consular section of the embassy or consulate in China or South Korea does not accept the visa application materials submitted by post, it needs to be submitted in person or through an agent.

Article 9 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration stipulates that China citizens shall apply for passports or other travel documents when leaving or entering the country.

China citizens who want to go to other countries or regions also need to obtain visas or other entry permits. However, unless the China government has signed visa exemption agreements with other governments or the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provide otherwise.

China citizens who leave or enter the country as seafarers and work on foreign ships shall apply for a seaman's certificate according to law.
