Blanie Naval Base (BNB) is the first base of the Singapore Navy, which was taken over by Tadashi Base and Changi Base successively, and was officially closed in 2000. In 1970s, Singapore decided to build a naval base in Blanie, and started construction in August 1972, with British Brigadier General Bruce White as the consultant. The Tuas Naval Base (TNB) is the second base of the Singapore Navy, located in the west of Singapore, with an area of 0.28 square kilometers. The base was officially opened on September 2, 1994. In the 20 years before Dashi base was put into use, the Singapore Navy had been using the only Blanie naval base. In 1980s, after the expansion of the Singapore Navy's fleet, the Blanie base was obviously insufficient. The expansion based on the original Blanie base was also denied because of the nearby civil facilities and geographical conditions. After the space is optimized, the parking space of Dashi base is 2.5 times that of Blanie base, although it only occupies 850 meters of coast. Moreover, because a large number of automation equipment has been put into use in the naval base, the base has saved a lot of manpower, such as mechanized loading and unloading system, automated logistics supplementary system, automated ship retrieval system and so on. Dashi base also has a floating dock, which can dock and transport 600 tons of warships for repair and maintenance. The Changi Naval Base (CNB) is the third naval base in Singapore to replace the Blanie base. Changi base is located at the eastern end of Singapore, with an area of 1.28 square kilometers, and was officially put into use on May 2 1 2004.

Changi base has a berth of 6.2 kilometers, which can dock large aircraft carriers. Changi base is often used to dock US Navy aircraft carriers and other visiting and passing ships. [25]

Like Dashi base, Changi base also uses a lot of automation equipment, which saves a lot of manpower. Changi base has a fully automatic underground ammunition depot, which can automatically replenish ammunition for warships. All bases use wireless networks for information management and control. The base aims to protect the environment as much as possible. The night navigation lights of the breakwater are powered by some small wind turbines, and the top of the fleet command is equipped with solar panels, which generate electricity through solar energy and provide daily power supply for the base. Seawater cooling system is still used in the base, and seawater is used to cool the air conditioning system, saving fresh water.
