Due to historical reasons and natural conditions, the economic and social undertakings in the Sanjiangyuan area are backward, and the education in pastoral areas is greatly restricted. According to statistics, according to the per capita school building area, the school building gap in Sanjiangyuan area is 353,000 square meters, including 252,500 square meters in primary schools and 6,543,800,500 square meters in middle schools.

Since the implementation of the ecological migration project in Sanjiangyuan area in 2003, the state has invested a total of 208 million yuan, and more than 28,000 herders in the core area of Sanjiangyuan have moved to towns or settlements with relatively concentrated population, so that children from pastoral areas have the opportunity to receive better education.

In order to change the schooling conditions of the children of ecological immigrants, combined with the implementation of the master plan of ecological protection and construction in the Three Rivers source, we built 17 schools and rebuilt and expanded 32 schools in areas where ecological immigrants are concentrated, so as to ensure that children in the Three Rivers source area can receive a good education.
