Traffic between Vanuatu and the Republic of China

Traffic facilities are backward and expensive. There is no railway. Mainly by sea. The total length of the highway is about 1900 km, most of which are dirt roads. There are airports on all major islands. Port Vila has an international airport with direct flights to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands and New Caledonia. Vanuatu Airlines is the only international airline in Vanuatu. There are nearly 10 air routes in China.

Vanuatu is also a new flag country. By 20 14, about 600 ships will fly the Vanuatu flag. China-Vanuatu sea routes include Tianjin/Shanghai-Busan-Port Vila, Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Sydney-Port Vila.
