At present, the water-borne high iodine endemic areas in our city are mainly distributed in Liuji Town 15 village, Fuping County, and the water-borne high iodine endemic areas are mainly distributed in Linwei District, Weinan Economic Development Zone, Weinan High-tech Zone, Dali County, Fuping County, huayin city and other five counties (cities, districts) 109 village.
Main measures to prevent and control the harm of high iodine
1, non-iodized salt is supplied by the salt industry department.
2, the water conservancy department should implement water improvement measures, turn high iodine drinking water into iodine-containing drinking water.
3, health, education, publicity and other departments * * * to do a good job in health education, let the people know to buy salt, not only to ensure the supply of iodized salt for residents in drinking water areas with high iodine, but also to prevent the impact of iodized salt on iodine-deficient areas.
4. The health department should establish and improve an effective monitoring system, timely grasp the supply of iodized salt, the change of water iodine and the condition of high iodine areas, and appropriately adjust the prevention and control strategies according to the monitoring results.
