We always like to make up inventive labels for our ancestors, saying that the Chinese nation originated from the civilized peoples of the Central Plains. However, it is based on the logic of human development, combined with comprehensive inferences from archaeological and documentary records. The Chinese nation does not have a single origin, but is a gradual fusion of tribes from all over the world in the East (Tai Dong). Genetic testing of the Han people also does not support the pure-blood Zhongxia people that Confucianism has always advocated. Ancient documents record that there were many farming and animal husbandry tribes during the Xiaoxia period. Some historians believe that the Chinese nation is a fusion of Zhongxia people, Dongyi people, Nanman people, Xiqiang people, and Beidi people, but with the Zhongxia people as the core. However, Zhongxia people were the name of the Xia people during the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and did not exist before the Xia Dynasty. Before the Xia Dynasty, the central area should be called central people or Taihua people - people around Taihua. Moreover, according to the location in ancient times, there were Hu people in the northeast (Donghu people), Yue people in the southeast (South Yue people, later developed into Baiyue people or Cantonese people), Nanpu people in the southwest (Baipu people), and Xirong people in the northwest. , in fact, the agricultural and animal husbandry tribes in the nine directions merged to form the Chinese nation or the Shenzhou nation, the Chinese or the Shenhua people. Among them, the Jiuli people are one of the Hundred Pus, and the Ba people and Shu people are also one of the Hundred Pus. Today's Thais, Burmese, Laotians, and Northeastern Indians are all one of the hundred people. The Vietnamese are the result of the fusion of the 500,000 immigrants from the Central Plains brought by Zhao Tuo and the people from western Baiyue who went south. The Li ethnic group in Hainan Province should be a branch of the Jiuli ethnic group.
