Environmental management in the West Sea

Facing the grim reality of the continuous deterioration of the ecological environment in Qinghai Lake area, a few days ago, the state officially approved the Plan for Ecological Environment Protection and Comprehensive Management in Qinghai Lake Basin, which indicates that the ecological environment protection and comprehensive management project in Qinghai Lake Basin will be implemented soon.

In view of all kinds of "diseases" in the ecology of Qinghai Lake, many ecological protection projects will be implemented, such as wetland protection, grassland rodent and pest control, desertification land management, ecological shelter forest construction, soil and water conservation and so on. In order to reasonably and moderately utilize the natural resources around Qinghai Lake and reduce the negative impact of human activities on the ecological environment of Qinghai Lake Basin, we should organically combine artificial protection with natural restoration.

The total investment of this plan is estimated to be 654.38+567 billion yuan, including 765.438+500 million yuan for projects implemented through existing investment channels and 852 million yuan for national special investment projects. The planned implementation period is 654.38+00 years. The project covers the four counties of Gangcha, Haiyan, Tianjun and * * * in Qinghai Lake Basin, covering an area of 296,665,438+0 square kilometers, covering almost the whole Qinghai Lake Basin. The implementation period of the whole project is 10 year. Through the implementation of the project, it is hoped that the ecological environment of Qinghai Lake basin can be restored, the trend of water level decline can be gradually alleviated, and the stability of the ecosystem in this area can be maintained.

Take effective measures to protect the biological resources of Qinghai Lake. From June 5438+0, 2006 to June 5438+0, 2006 to February 3/kloc-0, 2006, Qinghai Province closed Qinghai Lake for fish culture, and it was forbidden to catch yellow croaker in Qinghai Lake and its main rivers and tributaries. A special reserve of Przewalski's gazelle has been set up around Qinghai Lake to protect this only 300 animals.

At the same time, the comprehensive management plan of Qinghai Lake also includes projects such as returning grazing to grassland and ecological migration: returning grazing to grassland is 854,700 hectares, ecological migration is 4 157, rural drinking water safety is 36,700, and rural energy construction is 556 solar houses to improve the production and living conditions of farmers and herdsmen in the basin.

Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, a large animal husbandry prefecture located on the south bank of Qinghai Lake, takes ecological animal husbandry as its development direction, changes the development mode of animal husbandry on the premise of protecting grassland ecology and scientifically utilizing grassland resources, and establishes an animal husbandry industrial system with unified ecological, economic and social benefits.
