New Zealand student visa

To apply for a student visa, you must provide:

1. Valid passport. If you cannot submit your passport, please provide your birth certificate and ID card.

2. Fill in a complete and signed application form for visiting visa and a supplementary form for China citizens to visit, study and work in New Zealand.

3. The applicant's recent passport photo.

4. Admission notice

5. Application fee

6. Proof of funds or completed and signed student fund guarantee form (NZIS 10 14)

7. Health certificate (if applicable)

8. Proof of behavior (if applicable)

Please note that the application materials will be returned if any of the above items are missing.

Health requirements:

1. Applicants who come from countries with high incidence of tuberculosis and plan to stay in New Zealand for more than 6 months, or who have stayed in countries with high incidence of tuberculosis for 3 months or more in the past 5 years, must provide a complete list of chest X-ray examinations for short-term entry visas (NZIS 1096).

(Please refer to the Health Needs Manual (NZIS 1 12 1) for detailed information and the list of countries with low incidence of tuberculosis.

2. Applicants who plan to stay in New Zealand for more than 24 months must provide a complete list of physical examination and chest X-ray examination (NZIS 1007).

* All medical examination forms must be filled in and signed by hospitals designated by Immigration New Zealand (the list of designated hospitals can be obtained from our website www.immigration.govt.nz). The time interval between the completion date of the medical examination and the submission of the application shall not exceed 3 months. Unless required by visa officer or immigration officer, applicants who have submitted medical examination and chest X-ray examination forms before this date and are less than 24 months from the date of this application do not need to provide new medical examination forms.

* Pregnant women and children under 1 1 do not need chest X-ray examination.

Personality requirements:

The applicant is 17 or above, and intends to stay in New Zealand for more than 24 months. A notarial certificate without criminal punishment is required. The date of issuance should be less than 6 months from the date of application submission. At the same time, the applicant must also provide a copy of the certificate issued by the local police station or criminal investigation brigade that he has not been criminally punished, and the date of issuance should be within 6 months from the date of submitting the application. Please note that we do not accept the certificate of no criminal offence issued by the applicant's unit, unit security department, street or talent center.

Other supporting documents:

1. notarized original birth certificate and its English translation.

2. Notarization of kinship, indicating the details of all immediate family members (parents, brothers and sisters, partners and children), including their full names and dates of birth, regardless of their right of abode or nationality.

3. The original or notarized copy of the household registration book.

4. An explanatory letter in English explaining the applicant's study choices and plans after completing his studies.

5. A letter of admission from an educational institution in New Zealand must include:

The name and level of the course, including the minimum hours required to complete the course.

Tuition fees for the whole course indicate that if the course lasts more than one year, annual tuition fees are required.

Whether students must pay the course tuition; and

How long will you stay in New Zealand?

6. A letter of proof issued by the school where the applicant is currently studying, stating the degree of the course the applicant is currently studying in China, or a notarized academic certificate with English translation.

7. The originals and photocopies of any academic certificates, graduation certificates and graduation certificates obtained by the applicant in the past five years. For a partially completed course, the details of the course must be provided.

8. Accommodation guarantee provided by New Zealand schools or other willing and able people.

9. Materials proving that the applicant has sufficient funds to pay the living and study expenses during his stay in New Zealand. Proof materials can be but not limited to the following types:

The employer certificate of the applicant's parents or the employer certificate of the fund guarantor. The letter must be written on the company's stationery, stamped with the company seal and signed by the company leader or the person in charge of the personnel department. The contents of the letter shall include:

Annual income (including bonus and all commissions)

Term of office and position

If the applicant's parents are the owners or shareholders of the enterprise, they need to provide:

Original business license or public certificate

The "Enterprise Registration Inquiry Form" issued under the seal of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau lists the names and shares of all shareholders.

Corporate income tax in the past two years

The profit and loss statement of the enterprise in the previous fiscal year

The bank statement of the enterprise in the last fiscal year shows the daily income and expenditure of the company. The bank statement must be stamped with the official seal of the bank.

Certificate issued by the owner of the enterprise, indicating the time of establishment of the enterprise, the management form of the enterprise and the number of employees. The letter of confirmation should be written on the company's stationery.

If the applicant provides a guarantee for studying abroad, the applicant must provide a letter of proof provided by the employer or spouse's employer (if applicable) including the above contents.

All bank transfer/activity records of the applicant, parents and/or other fund guarantors, covering at least 12 months before submitting the application.

Other materials to prove the financial ability, it is best to provide the original: bank deposit certificate, bank passbook, deposit receipt, personal income tax payment certificate, stock trading report in the past 12 months. If the funds come from the income from stock investment, the shareholder account certificate shall be provided at the same time.

For large deposits of funds in the past six months, applicants need to provide favorable materials to prove the history and sources of funds of these deposits, such as interest lists, stock trading receipts, etc. Please also provide a written explanation about the history and source of these deposits.

If the applicant's guarantor lives abroad, he/she must provide a copy of his/her latest income tax return, a letter from his/her employer certifying his/her current position and annual income, and proof of his/her legal residence status or citizenship. In addition, the sponsor also needs to provide a statutory declaration of funding, stating the amount of funding provided, the reasons for providing funding, and whether the fund is a free gift or a loan.

Original bank document stamped with the bank seal, describing the daily transactions in the past 12 months.

Student loan materials

Precautions:

1. Immigration New Zealand reserves the right to request additional information and submit information and documents when hearing applications.

2. Immigration New Zealand will evaluate the application. Once a decision is made, the applicant has no right to appeal.

3. If the original is in Chinese, the applicant shall provide an English translation.

4. If false or misleading information is provided, the application will be rejected.

The treatment time is about 30 days. It takes longer to process applications with incomplete documents. Please don't buy a plane ticket until you get a visa.

6. After approval, please arrive in New Zealand within the validity period. Please note that student visas cannot be automatically extended. If the applicant cannot arrive in New Zealand within the validity period, he must submit a new application.
