Can minors go abroad alone?

Minors cannot go abroad alone. /kloc-children with household registration under 0/6 years old shall submit the following materials to the public security organ when handling the exit-entry certificate at the exit-entry administration department:

1. application form for entry and exit documents of China citizens;

2. The original and photocopy of the applicant's household registration book;

3. The original and photocopy of the household registration book and ID card of the guardian accompanying the application;

4. Proof of kinship between the applicant and the guardian accompanying the application, such as "birth certificate", but it is not necessary to submit it if it is in the same household registration place as the guardian accompanying the application;

5. Recent bareheaded photos of the applicant.

Process of visa application for going abroad:

1. Submit a valid passport;

2. Submit various documents related to the application, such as birth certificate, marital status certificate, education certificate and work experience certificate.

3. Fill in and submit the visa application form. Different visas have different forms, most of which should be filled in foreign languages, and at the same time provide their own photos;

4. Go to the embassy or consulate in China to meet officials. Some countries stipulate that all immigrant applicants must be interviewed before making a decision; Some countries also stipulate that applying for a non-immigrant visa also requires an interview;

5. The embassy or consulate shall submit the completed visa application form and necessary supporting materials to the domestic competent authorities for examination and approval. The embassies and consulates of a few countries have the right to issue visas directly, but they still have to report to the domestic record;

6. After going to the competent department of the host country for necessary examination and approval, notify the embassy or consulate of the host country of the examination and approval opinions. If you agree, a visa will be issued. If the visa is refused, the applicant will also be informed (the embassy or consulate will not refund the visa refusal fee);

7. Pay the visa fee. When submitting a visa application, you must pay the fee first. In some countries, the fee is charged only after the visa application is successful. The immigrant visa fee is slightly higher, and the non-immigrant visa fee is slightly lower. There are also some countries and regions that are visa-free.

China citizens shall apply for passports or other travel documents when leaving or entering the country.

China citizens who want to go to other countries or regions also need to obtain visas or other entry permits. However, unless the China government has signed visa exemption agreements with other governments or the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provide otherwise.

China citizens who leave or enter the country as seafarers and work on foreign ships shall apply for a seaman's certificate according to law.
