Is Morocco establishing colonial rule in Western Sahara?

Western Sahara is located in northwest Africa, bordering Morocco to the north, Algeria and Mauritania to the east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, with an area of ??266,000 square kilometers and a population of 160,000. In early November 1975, King Hassan II of Morocco organized the "Green March" and 350,000 Moroccan volunteers marched into Western Sahara. After Spanish troops withdrew from Western Sahara in 1976, Morocco and Mauritania immediately entered into an agreement to divide Western Sahara. Morocco occupied 160,000 square kilometers in the north and Mauritania occupied 90,000 square kilometers in the south.
