Can I retain dual citizenship after emigration?

China does not recognize dual citizenship in principle.

So if you want to immigrate, you can choose a country with a residence visa or permanent residence status. If you get permanent residence status, you can enjoy all the benefits of local residents except political rights. Therefore, you can immigrate and retain China nationality;

If you just want to get another country's passport, it is ok not to let the identity of dual nationality be discovered.
