I come from Chengdu, and I want to go to a country in Nepal this summer. Can you give me some advice? What preparations should be made? As a student, I don't know much

If you turn to two friends, you must watch it. This is very important.

first

1. First of all, the weather: I was worried about the rainy season before I left. If I travel, I will be very depressed. Fortunately, our fears proved to be unnecessary. Although August is the local rainy season, it usually rains at night and it is basically sunny during the day, so it has no effect on my play. During my week there, the only rainy day I met was the day I went to Boccara, but it was a car ride. However, the biggest impact of rainy season is that the clouds in the sky are too thick, and the Himalayan snow-capped mountains have never been seen in Boccara (even on sunny days), let alone the beautiful scenery on postcards. This is the biggest regret of going to Nepal in the rainy season. 10- 165438+ October is the golden tourist season in Nepal. At this time, Nepal has a pleasant climate, fresh air, clear sky and high visibility. February to April is the second best tourist season. Due to the dust brought by monsoon, the visibility is not as good as that in June 10- 1 1, but the climate is warm and azaleas in Nepal are in full bloom. From June 1 1 to June 1 next year, the weather and visibility are good, but the temperature turns cold, so hikers should be prepared for snow prevention. Cheap hotels in Kathmandu have no heating equipment, and the nights are cold. Other times are not suitable for travel. From May to early July, high temperature dust smells bad; During the rainy season from mid-July to September, the roads are muddy and the sky is overcast.

2. Altitude: Kadu is only 1500m, while Boccara is only a few hundred meters lower. If you don't go hiking, there won't be any altitude sickness.

3. the problem of changing the socket: I didn't prepare to change the socket before I left (mainly two-hole round plugs in the local area). As a result, when I stayed in the hostel, I found that there were even plug-in sockets in the room (both in Kadu and the hostel in Boccara, look carefully, sometimes in the bathroom), so I saved my money and bought a change socket, haha.

4. Cell phone signal: Kadu, Boccara and Nagakout have good signals, and the cost of sending short messages is RMB 2.69.

There is a column on Nepal's immigration form: the last port of call stumped us who often run outside, and we didn't know where to fill that column until we asked the lady at the airport immigration office. We are from China. Of course, we just filled in "China".

6. The departure airport tax is increased from 1 100RB to 1695RB. Please leave enough money. On the last day when I was eating Chinese food at the Great Wall Hotel, I overheard it from other tourists. I was shocked when I confirmed it, and quickly changed my money into 20 dollars (it's no use changing more rupees, so be careful not to bring it back as a souvenir. Du Man Street is full of money exchange shops. I'm not afraid of having nowhere to change money. The latest exchange rate is 1usd=68.35RB, but the Great Wall Hotel offers a little discount,1USD = 68.40rb. It might be better if you ask the proprietress of their restaurant to change it, but I haven't tried it).

7. Be sure to bring sunscreen. Girls who love beauty should remember not to ignore the back of the neck and under the neckline when applying sunscreen, or you will regret it. And if you stay in the sun for more than 1 hour, remember to paint! I rowed in Lake Fiva for three hours, and when I came back, I found my neckline red and sunburned.

8. Don't let the taxi driver take you to any guest house. Facts have proved that this is a waste of time and money. In Dujia and Boccara, taxi drivers took us to visit more than six hotels, which were expensive. Some guest houses look dirty, some are uninhabited, some rooms are in bad locations, and none of them are good. Finally, we found a satisfactory place according to the introduction of previous netizens (thanks again to those predecessors! )。 So I suggest you get ready before you leave and remember more names of guest houses. If a hostel is full in the peak season, you can find the next one purposefully. After all, our time is for sightseeing, not for inspecting the hotel industry in Nepal.

9. OK: Taxi drivers in Nepal are really bad, and they charge exorbitant prices everywhere, especially at airports and stations. I suggest not asking "how much", but I will definitely quote you a sky-high price. Taking a taxi from the airport to Tamil area is 65,438+000 rupees. Later, in order to save time, I asked 100RB directly to the airport, and the driver agreed to get on the bus. The Dubai Plaza in Patan is also 100RB (but a pair of Jiangsu friends in the same trade actually bargained for 60RB, I admire you). Kadu is 65,438+0,000 rupees for Nagakout and 400 rupees for Badugang. If your bargaining level is high, it is estimated that you can keep it down. Take the Green Line bus to Boccara, too lazy to book tickets in the hostel, USD 1 1. I don't know if I can buy it, but it certainly doesn't need 12 (although its ticket is marked 12)! I flew back to Canada from Boccara for $45 (there are many airlines to choose from, but of course I found the cheapest one). In addition, don't let the hostel call a taxi for you, just walk to the side of the road and call a taxi yourself, otherwise those unscrupulous drivers will charge exorbitant prices, and even say that they will increase the price after waiting for you for an hour. . . In a word, if there is anything unpleasant in Nepal, it is nine times out of ten related to these unscrupulous drivers, so we must negotiate the price in advance before taking the bus (they will not go back on their agreed price, which is better than taxi drivers in some scenic spots in China).

10. Accommodation: I have been staying at YANKI Hotel in Kadu, with a room of 250RB, a separate bathroom and 24-hour hot water. The Yankee is next door to the Tibet Guest House. It seems to be very famous in Kadu, and everyone knows it, so when we go outside, we will tell the driver to go to the Tibet Guest House. Hey, it has become a signpost. Friendly reminder not to live in a room near the road, otherwise the noise of the motorcycle will make you sleep for a long time at night, which is also the reality of my first night in Kadu, midnight 1 (local time! It's past 3: 00 Beijing time. From time to time, you can still hear the sound of motorcycles whizzing by. Very depressing. I was in a hurry to change rooms the next day. I'm staying at ABC Hotel in Boccara, with a room of 300 RB, and the location is very good. Unfortunately, I didn't see the snow-capped mountains on the top floor. There is also a luxury hotel directly opposite ABC Hotel (name forgotten). The room facilities are good, with air-conditioned TV and the style of a domestic three-star hotel, but it costs 800RB, so I didn't stay.

1 1. Gourmet: The steak on Mount Everest (opposite the Yankee Hotel) is really delicious (not worse than the steak in Shangri-La in China). There are two thick pieces in the 350RB set meal, which people with an average appetite can't eat at all. It is suggested that the latecomers order one set meal for two, two set meals for four, and so on. After all, saving is not shameful, and waste is looked down upon. Chinese food in Kadu Great Wall Hotel is very much to my taste, and the price is also cheap. The vegetables that I didn't eat in Nepal for a week were finally eaten at the Great Wall. It turns out that Chinese restaurants all over the world are for our patriotic stomach. But everyone agrees that the best meal is a free lunch, curry chicken, curry vegetables and fried noodles at the lakeside resort on the way to Boccara. . . Now it makes my mouth water (is it because of free food? )

12. Tour: I'm disappointed in Boccara because I didn't see the snow-capped mountains. Lake Fiwa without the reflection of snow-capped mountains is just an ordinary lake, but Nagakot has become the highlight of this trip. Personally, I think it's a good place to stay for a few days (if the Himalayan resort is too expensive, it's 45 dollars/night including breakfast and dinner, after all, people are five-star hotels). The hotel is built on the commanding heights and the surrounding scenery is excellent. The roof platform can watch both sunrise and sunset. The snow-capped mountains that I didn't see in Boccara finally appeared the next morning when I checked into the hotel. I'm glad you came. I live in room 50 1, and the balcony faces the fish tail peak. You can see Annapurna in Room 502 next door (this hotel is very interesting, and there is a small sign at the door of each room, indicating a perfect angle to see a peak in the Himalayas). Room 50 1-504 is the best room in the hotel. They all face the northeast (the Himalayas are in the north of Kadu, so when you look at the snow-capped mountains on the balcony in the morning, you should look to your left, not the peaks you face). In addition, the advantage of staying in this hotel is that you don't have to get up early to climb the mountain to watch the sunrise, just get up at 5 o'clock and open the curtains in your room. Sunrise belongs only to you.

Go to Badegang, Patan, etc. I suggest asking a local tour guide to explain it to you. The cost is about 200RB, otherwise unless you have a good memory and have been holding the English version of LP in one hand, you certainly don't know what you saw, and you may be unfortunately lost. If you have time to stay there for half a month and play slowly for 20 days, that's another matter.

Security issues:

When traveling, there is a lot of mobility, thieves are everywhere, and robbery also happens from time to time. So cash, cameras, jewelry and other valuables must be carried with you. Watch out for robbers behind you when you walk. Be sure to take valuables with you when you leave the hotel. If you lose something, the guest must be conceited. Places prone to theft are: stations, airports, restaurants, hotels and other public places.

If the itinerary is controlled within one week, the estimated cost is about 7000-8000 yuan, including air tickets, accommodation and daily expenses. If it takes about 10 days, it is estimated that it will take about 10000 yuan. Of course, it has something to do with your departure time, hotel level, dining situation, local transportation and so on, depending on how you use it.
