Huang Daxian’s real name was Huang Chuping (about 328-386), a native of the Jin Dynasty, and his nickname was Chisongzi. His brother Huang Chuqi searched everywhere but could not find his whereabouts. They met outside the cave 40 years later. The former sheep had long since turned into white stones all over the mountain, but Huang Chuping shouted and the stones immediately turned into sheep. Huang Chuqi was extremely surprised. He admired his younger brother's skills and determined to practice Taoism. From then on, Huang Chu stayed in the cave to practice with his younger brother. He refused to eat the fireworks of the world, and ate pine seeds and poria cocos every day, and finally achieved enlightenment and became an immortal. Therefore, it is said that Wong Tai Sin is the second brother of the Wong family.

Wong Tai Sin has extensive influence in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. It is revered by believers at home and abroad as the "God of Peace", "God of Wealth" and "Chinese Immortal", with as many as 5 million believers. There are even many believers in the United States who have built temples and shrines for him, and the incense is flourishing.
