There is also a universal health insurance+15 happiness in the imperial interface, but it will reduce the resource income by 20%, so this policy can be closed again when factions disappear or resources turn red.
In short, if you survive the conquered debuff, this camp will disappear and this new race will become a member of your main camp. Of course, there will be races whose policies are much worse than yours, either changing imperial policies, changing political systems, or increasing happiness in other ways, such as making happy leaders governors.
Of course, there are also some ethnic groups that are difficult to serve, such as isolationism and extreme isolationism. You can directly use vassal or liberation in the reasons for declaring war without ceding land.
The relationship between adaptation and happiness:
Adaptation is the greatest happiness that this race can get on this planet.

How to solve factional problems quickly;

In the faction interface, you should first look at the population of this faction.
Then click Search.
Sometimes there may be planets with the same name. You can click on them to see if there are any planets with lower happiness.
I found this planet, and then I moved to them to see which faction members are, and then I clicked in to see what their needs are, such as changing a certain policy or causing famine, but in my example, there is no need to change the policy because this faction is only supported by 1 person, and its length is 0, so there will be no problem.
Finally, talk about which races are suitable as the main ethnic groups. As I said at the beginning, the first few countries you immigrated with are very important.
Let's talk about why extreme isolationism/isolationism, extreme pacifism and extreme idealism are not suitable for being your nationals.
As long as isolationism is not the main ethnic group, there is no way to manage it. Being managed by aliens is -40 (extreme) /-20 happiness, and there are a bunch of messy debuff plus a newly conquered -20 happiness attribute. Once you arrive in your country, you will be happy in an instant and can't serve well.

As long as they are fighting, they will be happy at -40 (limit) /-20, and then their power plants and mines will turn red, which may not be felt when the population is small, but when the pacifist population accounts for the vast majority of your empire, the double red deficit is 1 minute per war. Militarism is a cannon, and pacifism is a direct return to liberation after a battle.
Idealism is a cancer. In the early days, you were indifferent, but you also brought an extra 5% or 10% (extreme) happiness. You might feel good. It is called cancer because it is incurable. When your empire is large and idealists are in the overwhelming majority ... hehe.
