In the global economic crisis, why did Germany suffer more serious losses but recover quickly?

After the October Revolution, the Soviet Union was severely damaged by the civil war and the blockade of Western society. Although it established diplomatic relations with Germany, exported grain, introduced industrial equipment, and the economy began to rebound steadily, the poor helped the poor, or the poor remained poor. The two sides hit it off immediately, and the Soviet Union purchased a large amount of American industrial equipment and technology at extremely low prices.

To the surprise of the Americans, the Soviet Union had a huge appetite. Often entire production lines and factories were dismantled and shipped to the Soviet Union, and more than 90% of its imports were machinery and equipment. Of course, technology patents followed, and from then on the Soviet Union had its own automobile and tractor manufacturing plants. For example, the famous Geese 150 car is an American copy.

Secondly, hire a large number of foreign experts and engineers. Unemployed engineers and workers in the United States regarded the Soviet Union as a "gold mining land" and immigrated to the Soviet Union to work one after another, becoming the backbone of supporting its industrialization progress. At that time, there were as many as 6,800 "expert" engineers from various countries, most of whom were Americans.

What’s even more powerful is that what they want is the entire industrial production system. The Soviet Union invested US$2 billion in cooperation with Kahn Corporation, the largest industrial manufacturer in the United States, to create an industrial kingdom with everything from raw material supply to spare parts and other downstream enterprises. Although the Soviet Union's products are known for being "stupid, bulky, and bulky," it is already the world's second largest industrial country.

In other words, the entire industrial system of the Soviet Union was built with the help of Americans. In Europe, Germany has been hardest hit by the economic crisis.

Germany’s rapid rise after World War I was largely due to international loans, of which the United States was the largest investor. With the financial crisis on Wall Street, the United States stopped providing new loans on the one hand, and forced debts from German companies on the other. Led by the United States, various countries also began to withdraw funds from Germany.

The fragile German economy simply cannot withstand such a "big storm", which will be followed by a large number of bank and business failures and a wave of unemployment. Before the Nazis came to power, the number of unemployed people in Germany had reached 8 million, accounting for about half of the total. Including their wives and children, about 30 million people returned to the era of displacement and lack of food and clothing.

People took to the streets one after another to denounce the evil Treaty of Versailles and the incompetent Weimar government. The desperate German people turned their hopes to the Nazis. Regardless of whether they could really lead Germany out of the predicament, its promise of "everyone has something to do and everyone has food to eat" was extremely tempting at the time.

However, in 1932, when the economic crisis was at its worst, the number of party members suddenly climbed to 1 million, and Became the largest party in Germany. A considerable number of them are unemployed workers and retired soldiers. They do it for no other reason than to have enough to eat.

Where does the funding come from for an organization with so many people? The answer is simple, grab it! They robbed Jewish property of approximately 7 billion marks, and all the money was used to deceive people. On the streets, they distributed free porridge, clothes and shoes while promoting the cause. Of course, some of the big chaebols who support them have also invested a lot of money.

For example: The famous Krupp Company was the largest arms manufacturer in Europe at the time. In the "Ruhr Crisis", he fought tit-for-tat with the French army, for which Krupp spent several years in prison. Therefore, he was particularly concerned about revitalizing the nation, and he was especially helpful to the Nazis. After the war, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the International Court of Justice.

As the people wished, the Nazis came to power the next year, and Germany embarked on a path focused on developing military industry. A large number of arms orders allowed idle machines to start up again, providing more people with jobs. Only three years later, a surprising scene occurred. The number of unemployed people dropped from 8 million to 1 million, and national income doubled.

For a time, the Third Reich was supported by all walks of life, and even those who opposed it couldn't help but give thumbs up. However, the path of developing the military to revitalize the economy can only end in waging war. Having said that, without the financial crisis in the United States, the German people would not have chosen annoying extremist organizations. Therefore, the United States cannot escape the blame for the outbreak of World War II.
