Difference between Hengkou Demonstration Zone and Hengkou Town

In the past five years, Hengkou Demonstration Zone has always put the planning work in the first place in urban development, accurately grasped the functional orientation of Hengkou, and completed the planning investment of more than 20 million yuan. At present, the urban planning of the demonstration area has expanded to 48 square kilometers and 300,000 people, and the urban planning system is basically sound.

Secondly, Hengkou Demonstration Zone takes project construction as the carrier, vigorously implements the project-driven strategy and accelerates the improvement of urban infrastructure. Nearly 70 key projects, such as comprehensive renovation of Central Street, sewage treatment plant, Yong 'an Bridge and Yuebin South Street, have been implemented one after another, with an investment of more than 3 billion yuan. At present, the "one ring, two horizontals and five verticals" urban road network in Hengkou Demonstration Zone has been basically formed, and the infrastructure such as water, electricity, roads, garbage disposal, sewage treatment and greening has been basically improved, and the skeleton and framework of sub-center cities have basically appeared. Hengkou Demonstration Zone has also innovated financing methods, set up investment and development companies in the demonstration zone, entered the capital market for financing, expanded the scale of financing, increased land reserves, and actively sought the support and help of policy banks such as CDB and Agricultural Development Bank. At present, the rating credit has achieved AA+, and the financing has exceeded 2 billion yuan.

In terms of people's livelihood construction, Hengkou Demonstration Zone has implemented three resettlement projects: Phoenix Community, Waterfront Livable Community and Evergrande Xintiandi. A total of 6,004 resettlement houses were built, with 228 15 people relocated and more than 3,500 households 14 people moved in.
