On the vast Silk Road, under Qilian Mountain and in the middle of Hexi Corridor, there is a magical land, which is our folk music.

Minle County is located in the north of Qilian Mountain watershed, in the middle of Hexi Corridor, bordering Shandan in the east, Sunan in the west and Nantong and Ganzhou in Qinghai in the north. It is 95 kilometers long from north to south and 73 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 3687.32 square kilometers.

The terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, surrounded by mountains on three sides. The altitude is between 1589-5027 meters, and the annual average temperature is 1-7.6℃.

As early as more than 5,000 years ago, our ancestors thrived on this ancient land, which has a very profound cultural heritage and is a bright pearl on the ancient Silk Road.

As early as the late Neolithic period, human beings flourished in Liuba area. In 2009, the Machang-style tomb of Majiayao culture was discovered in Hu Ba Village, Liuba Town, and painted pottery more than 4,000 years ago was unearthed, which pushed forward the history of folk music for 4,200 to 4,300 years. The ruins of Huishan in the East and West belong to the Siba culture type, dating from 3400 to 3900 years ago.

King Khan left a summer map in Yonggu City; Huo Qubing, the ancient general of a title of generals in ancient times, left a heroic battle here; Zhang Qian and Ban Chao passed through here and went to the Western Regions, leaving behind melodious camel bells. Emperor Yang Di went to the Western Ocean and left a lovely princess at the border ferry. Soldiers of the Red West Route Army fought bloody battles and moved to the northwest, where they wrote a tragic history; General Wang Zhen walked out of the border ferry, liberated folk music and held high the five-star red flag in the hometown of folk music.

There are six or eight caves and Xihui Mountain, which reflect the life and production of human beings in the Neolithic Age. There was a boy temple in Wei and Jin Dynasties; During the period of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, there were Baguaying Ancient City and Baguaying Han Group; There are Liuyuan Pagoda, Shengtian Temple, Qingliu Temple, Kuixing Pagoda and Hongshui Pavilion in Liuba since the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are new central square, century avenue and Folk Music Park.

The land and water paintings collected by the county museum are exquisite and can be called rare treasures; Jin Cuodao, the treasure of the town hall, is rare in China, and it is a boutique of ancient coins.
