How to evaluate the movie Alien Contract

Although I went to see Alien: Contract yesterday, I didn't write anything after I came back ... I was amazed at the scale and exquisiteness of ridley scott's creation of Alien Universe, and I had the illusion of "dare not write"-this is not laziness or timidity, but more like awe of an excellent work.

If I ask whether this movie is good or not, I will definitely say yes, but this "good" is more out of the context of Prometheus and alien series, and I admire Mr. Lei's design of "alien movie". If we only pay attention to the movie "Contract", it looks like a relatively new movie-but even so.

In this paper, I don't want to leave my schoolbag and tell a story about the past lives of aliens. When they realize that what they have created is out of control, and may even evolve more perfectly than themselves, both human beings and engineers choose to "transform" their own creations. In terms of physical function and technical level, Walter's "score" is higher than that of the first generation robot David, but these biochemical people have been castrated for their independent thinking and self-learning ability in order to "serve mankind better".

I think the best part of the whole movie "Contract" is the exchange and confrontation between David and Walter.

David, who has been "awakened", is not only determined to dominate his own destiny, but also has the ambition to be a new generation of "creators" (or grand aspirations), so he naturally disdains being a servant of "human beings who should be eliminated". But David is willing to give his brother Walter, who is also a biochemical man, a chance to "abandon darkness and turn to light"-so there are three dialogues.

The first time, Walter went to David, but the other party played the flute with him. Walter said no, and David said, "Do you want to learn? I'll teach you ",Walter really blew a passage, and David thought," A willing son can teach you ";

The second time, David took Walter to pay homage to Dr. Xiao, and then said, "I love Xiao as much as you love Dany", while Walter said, "It's a responsibility". Finally, I have to mention aliens. All versions of Prometheus can be regarded as incomplete. After David came to the engineer's hometown planet, he has been using all kinds of birds and animals on the planet to carry out cultivation experiments. Too bad it didn't go well. The ideal "matrix" is still human, but before the contract came, the only human around David was Elizabeth Shaw. ...

So David's singing is not only to attract spaceships, but also to provide door-to-door service for "mice". Finally, he cultivated an alien with the face-hugging bug and the acting captain Oulang.

However, the aliens in the first battle were not completely successful. Although they were able to kill all sides, they still lost to the survivors Danny and Tennessee ... but David didn't care. His ultimate goal is to be a creator (with the most perfect inanimate objects) and create the most perfect creatures.

David deceived Dany and became Walter, blaming most of the crew's deaths on accidents, erasing the voyage record of the engineer's home planet, freezing the rest of the crew, colonists, embryos ... and two carefully preserved alien embryos, and continuing to sail to planet Olga VI as planned.

The sacred cause has just begun.

Having written so much, I still say this film is worth going to the cinema, but many people will definitely mention the problem of (damn) "cutting six minutes".

According to friends who have seen the full version, the main deleted scenes include the white aliens killing the crew, the aliens breaking out of Oulang's body, the full picture of Elizabeth Shaw's body, the whole process of the crew being attacked by a face-hugging bug and giving birth to another alien, and all aliens sticking out their tongues. ...

It can be said that the version currently being played in the cinema has little influence on the understanding of the theme and the overall impression of the film, but the completeness and the degree of horror have been reduced by one grade ... Although it is more in line with our "national conditions" and is conducive to allowing more ordinary audiences to watch the film, it is still a little regrettable for those who strive for originality.

The Alien series started an era. Everyone not only remembered its epoch-making significance, but also talked about the styles of four different directors in the past four films.

But combining Alien, Prometheus and Alien: Contract, it turns out that ridley scott's Alien is the best.
