The Henan dialect

Henan dialect is mainly popular in Henan and its surrounding areas. Due to the large population in Henan, political, war, economic, sports and other reasons, the mobility of population leads to a large number of groups mainly speaking Henan dialect in many areas outside Henan. In addition to Henan dialect in the north of Xi 'an, immigrants from Henan often form their own dialects in foreign lands. Henan dialect is distributed in the vast area north of the main stream of Huaihe River in Henan Province. Xinyang dialect in Huainan is located in the south of Xinyang County, Luoshan, Guangshan, Xinxian, Huangchuan, Gushi and Shangcheng in the middle and east of Xinyang, belonging to Xinbang dialect, the official dialect of the Central Plains. In Henan province, Huaibei dialect and Huainan dialect can be drawn according to Huaihe River.
