The Historical Evolution of Luding County

In the 45th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1705), Tiesuo Bridge was built in Xunyi, Sichuan. After the completion of the bridge, Emperor Kangxi named it Luding Bridge, and the county seat was named after the bridge.

Luding County has a long history, and the construction of Yudu County began in the early Han Dynasty.

In the first year of Wude in Tang Gaozu, Jialiang County and Dadu County were established, and Lejin County was established in Shaanxi.

Song implemented the national management system.

During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, the toast system was implemented, and a long lawsuit was set up against Hijikata Chizuru households, Lengbian and Shenbian.

The Luding Bridge Committee was established in Xuantong of Qing Dynasty in three years.

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), Luding County and Hualin County were established. In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), Hualin County was changed into a county assistant, and Luding was a single county under the Xikang provincial government.
