I. Review of the work in the past five years

The five-year term of the 1th CPPCC National Committee is a five-year period in which our province has accelerated the "four developments", made great efforts to explore the scientific development model with Qinghai characteristics, and strived to break through the road to success in Scientific Outlook on Development in underdeveloped areas, and made great achievements in building a prosperous, civilized and harmonious new Qinghai.

(1) Strengthening ideological construction and consolidating the foundation of unity and cooperation

(2) Focusing on the center and promoting sound and rapid development

We always regard promoting scientific development as the top priority for the CPPCC to perform its functions, and serve the province's "four developments" through various forms and channels.

After the Yushu earthquake, CPPCC organizations and CPPCC members at all levels in the province acted quickly and devoted themselves to earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction. The chairman and vice-chairman of the CPPCC Provincial Committee visited the families of the victims, the wounded and the rescue and relief personnel many times, actively organized the rescue of the precious cultural relics of the temple, and timely put forward opinions and suggestions such as arranging the affected students to study in the mainland and paying attention to the post-disaster reconstruction of the temple, which were taken seriously by the relevant departments of the central government, the provincial party Committee and the provincial government. CPPCC organizations at all levels in the province, CPPCC members, CPPCC in other provinces and relevant social organizations donated more than 14 million yuan of earthquake relief funds and materials to Yushu through the CPPCC. Through the investigation of the restoration and reconstruction work in Wenchuan, Sichuan, this paper puts forward some suggestions to the provincial party Committee and government on the post-disaster reconstruction of Yushu. Encourage, support and promote entrepreneurs among CPPCC members to actively participate in undertaking Yushu reconstruction projects. Organized members stationed in Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to conduct two special inspections on the progress of Yushu post-disaster reconstruction, put forward relevant opinions and suggestions to the state, and the central leadership made important instructions, which played a positive role in the smooth progress of reconstruction.
