I am a bank registration officer. I have applied for a passport with our bank’s approval. Now I plan to go to Thailand in April, but I don’t have a visa. Can I get one on arrival?

Visa on arrival is available in Thailand.

When applying for a visa on arrival, you must prepare the following materials in advance:

(1) "Application for Visa on

Arrival", 1 blank/ 4*6cm photo with blue background, round-trip air ticket within 15 days, and passport valid for more than 6 months. (Note: The form can be downloaded and filled out in English in advance; if you have no contact person in Thailand, you can fill in the address and phone number of the hotel where you plan to stay).

(2) The visa application fee is 1,000 baht per person. There is an additional fee for taking photos on site. When applying for a visa on arrival, you need to prepare 10,000 baht, 20,000 baht per family or the equivalent in foreign currency to prove your financial ability during the trip. Thai immigration officers will conduct random inspections.

4. The visa on arrival is valid for 15 days (including the day of entry) and cannot be extended if it is for tourism purposes. If your visa expires when leaving the country, you must pay a fine to the Immigration Bureau, which is 500 baht per day, up to a maximum of 20,000 baht.

5. If the Immigration Bureau has any doubts about the applicant's identity, purpose of entry, etc., it has the right to refuse entry without giving reasons.
