In the collection of modern folk songs in China, a "Campus Folk Song Movement in Taiwan Province Province" which has a far-reaching impact on popular music in China has begun.

Thirty years later, the classic folk concert officially started on April 1 day, announcing the official start of this grand memory. People will hear about Qiu Chan, the end of the movie, country roads and songs ... and countless middle-aged people begin to miss their youth again. Looking back at us, I have been asking, where is the youth of our pop music? Perhaps it is a lack, why don't we have such an era to commemorate?

The reasons are complicated, but the anxiety of the times is probably the primary reason. In 1960s, the economy of Taiwan Province Province began to recover. Later, the descendants of the first generation of immigrants gradually grew up. While demanding political rights, they began to be dissatisfied with the local Minnan ballads in Taiwan Province Province, the old Shanghai "Time Songs" and the western songs with full flavor in Taiwan Province Province, and the local original songs that inherited the "Time Songs", and instead demanded more fresh ballads that could better represent their own voices. "Campus! However, the atmosphere of our time is not so contextual, but intermittent. The "educated youth ballad" with similar temperament to the "Taiwan Province campus ballad" is doomed to failure, while the "campus ballad" initiated by Gao in the early 1990s was full of sighs and sorrows, but it was the end of emotion in the 1980s and did not become a lasting movement. Since then, the living environment of young people has become increasingly hot, and young people with spending power have grown up. But they are still worried about living in reality and are not in the mood to brew such a submerged new era.

Moreover, in the 1970s, when the campus folk songs in Taiwan Province Province sprouted, the record companies in Taiwan Province Province keenly captured this trend. At that time, the record production cost was low, and the record companies were able to take a chance and publish a large number of folk songs, which fanned the flames of this trend. However, with our current record production cost, operating mechanism and piracy depth, it is probably extravagant and risky to brew any trend.

Thirty years have passed, and those who were old or dead at the beginning have finally become an unrepeatable bronze age, which can only be commemorated and remembered by chance, and it is impossible to be in it again. But maybe there was an accident? Perhaps suddenly there is an undercurrent that has been lurking for a long time, stopping dormancy with enough strength, suddenly emerging and becoming a torrent of society, inspiring us to move forward? We hope we can still arrive on time.
