Chifeng:

One of the nine prefecture-level cities in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the southeast of Inner Mongolia, at the junction of Mongolia, Hebei and Liaoning provinces, bordering Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province in the southeast, Chengde City, Hebei Province in the southwest, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia in the east and Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia in the northwest, the city is located inland and belongs to a temperate semi-arid continental monsoon climate zone.
