Is it possible for human beings to immigrate to another planet?

Hawking predicted that human beings could live on other planets in one hundred years.

Hawking, a famous British scientist who is visiting Hong Kong, predicts that humans can establish a permanent base on the moon within 20 years and land on Mars in 40 years.

He also predicted that if human beings can survive in the next 100 years, they can emigrate to new planets independently without relying on the earth.

Completely paralyzed, Professor Hawking, who speaks by computer system and speech synthesizer, said at the press conference of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on Tuesday (June 13) that human beings need to consider emigrating to other planets because of various challenges, such as disasters, diseases, global warming and nuclear war, and to find a planet suitable for human habitation, human beings may have to go out of the solar system.
