(High score) Kneeling: Causes and effects of population migration in Ming and Qing Dynasties in history.

The Ming government immigrated to Yunnan on a large scale, and the immigrant population quickly surpassed the local population and became the ruling nation in the main political and economic center areas. With the arrival of immigrants, China culture dominated by Confucianism has spread in different forms. The first chapter mainly discusses the significance of studying Yunnan immigrants and the spread of Confucianism in Ming and Qing Dynasties. This paper introduces the present situation of Yunnan immigrants and the spread of Confucianism in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and studies the ways and influences of Yunnan immigrants and the spread of Confucianism in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is believed that the study of Yunnan immigrants and the spread of Confucianism in Ming and Qing Dynasties will play a positive role in our deeper understanding of the political, economic and cultural ties between Yunnan society and the mainland today. The second chapter discusses Yunnan immigrants and the spread of Confucianism before the Ming Dynasty. After Confucianism became the orthodox thought of the ruling class in the Han Dynasty, it came here with immigrants entering Yunnan for more than a thousand years before the Ming Dynasty. During this period, although there were various reasons for immigrants entering Yunnan, such as war, communication or trade, one thing was that no matter what type of immigrants entered Yunnan, they would consciously or unconsciously spread Confucian culture, prompting Yunnan society to unconsciously change to the direction of measuring social development with Confucianism as the standard. During this period, the most important event in the spread of Confucianism in Yunnan was the establishment of Saidianchi in Yunnan to spread Confucianism, which pushed the spread of Confucianism to a new stage. The third chapter discusses the situation of large-scale immigration in Ming Dynasty and its spread and influence on Confucianism. The large-scale migration carried out by the central government in the Ming Dynasty was unprecedented in quantity and duration. According to various historical records and modern scholars' research, there should be more than 2 million immigrants moved to Yunnan by the Ming government only during the reign of Hongwu Yongle in the Ming Dynasty. This quickly changed the ethnic population structure of Yunnan, a political and economic center. In addition, the Han people who moved to Yunnan before the Ming Dynasty quickly became the main ethnic group in Yunnan society, and the corresponding political, economic and cultural systems of the Central Plains society were also brought to Yunnan. Large-scale Han immigrants entered Yunnan, which quickly set off the climax of Confucianism. Confucius temples, schools and academies were built. Under the vigorous advocacy of the rulers of the Ming Dynasty, Confucianism began to spread in all directions in Yunnan through immigrants from all walks of life. The mode of production, way of life, way of thinking, ethics and value orientation of China culture, which is dominated by Confucianism, have influenced Yunnan society through different ways and channels. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, under the influence of Confucian culture, Yunnan's political system began to undergo major changes, that is, some ethnic minority areas with profound Confucian culture began to carry out political reforms, and the self-sufficient small-scale peasant economy in feudal society began to dominate the economy, and the level of productivity development was basically the same as that in the mainland; Culturally, more and more people are studying Confucian culture. With the popularization of imperial examinations and the improvement of writing level, social customs in most areas have undergone major changes. Chinese culture, dominated by Confucian culture, has become the standard for transforming the cultural customs of Yunnan ethnic minorities. The fourth chapter discusses the population migration and the spread and influence of Confucianism in Yunnan in Qing Dynasty. During the 268-year rule of the Qing Dynasty, although there was no large-scale immigration organized by the government like that of the Ming Dynasty, due to the increase of the total population of the Qing Dynasty and the large-scale immigration to Yunnan in the Ming Dynasty, the exchanges between the mainland and Yunnan increased, and the contradiction between people and land in the Central Plains became increasingly prominent. The mining industry in Yunnan developed in the Qing Dynasty, so the population of the Central Plains who entered Yunnan in various forms in the Qing Dynasty was not less than one million. Among these immigrants, the official classes and their families in Yunnan were few in number, but they played a leading role in the spread of Confucianism in the Qing Dynasty. After the spread of Confucianism for more than 200 years, Yunnan society in the Qing Dynasty was more consistent with the mainland than in the Ming Dynasty. Politically, the government continues to carry out land reform and return to the hometown in areas with mature conditions, and to carry out mandatory large-scale land reform and return to the hometown in areas with immature conditions because of the need of rule, forcing the popularization of Confucian culture. Economically, the feudal relations of production expanded from central Yunnan to remote areas, and the advanced agricultural production technology from the mainland was introduced into Yunnan in time, which improved the overall economic level of Yunnan. The development of mining and metallurgy industry has promoted the development of Yunnan's commerce and rapidly changed the values of people of all ethnic groups in Yunnan. Under the education and influence of Confucian culture, the cultural level of Yunnan people has been greatly improved, and the number of people who passed the imperial examination is no less than that of the mainland. Confucianism influenced all aspects of Yunnan society and promoted the overall changes of Yunnan society in the Qing Dynasty. Today, Yunnan has become one of the regions with the richest ancient Confucian culture in China.
