Why is the earth the only home for human beings?

Today, the total population of the world has reached 6.5 billion. Overpopulation makes the environment of our only home, the earth, worse and worse. So people hope to find other planets suitable for human habitation in space outside the earth, and dream of living on other planets one day. The development of modern science and technology provides a material basis for these dreams of mankind. Humans have launched spaceships and probes to find life beyond the earth and other planets where humans can live.

Humans once pinned their hopes on the moon, because it is the closest star to the earth, only 380 thousand kilometers. After landing on the moon, I found that it was a dead world, without any life, and the basic conditions for the survival of all living things such as air and water did not exist. The cold and hot temperatures there alone are enough to kill all living things (it can be as high as 127℃ in hot weather and lower than-183℃ in cold weather).

The environmental basis for human survival. Humans once pinned their hopes on Mars, hoping that Mars would be a planet suitable for life. The result of repeated exploration is still disappointing. The coldest time on Mars is-132℃, and the hottest time is 28℃. There is no water, only a little air, mostly carbon dioxide and argon. Like the moon, there is no possibility of life.

Besides the moon and Mars, what about other planets? So far, all the planets involved in human exploration activities have given negative answers.

Compared with other planets, we will find that the living environment provided by the earth is really unique. There is little change between hot and cold on the earth, and the temperature difference between hot and cold in most areas does not exceed 80℃, with the hottest about 50℃ and the coldest about -88℃. There are water, oxygen, various animals and plants, mineral deposits, all basic conditions suitable for human survival and natural resources available for human use. It can be said that the earth is the cradle, the mother, the home and the only living environment for human beings.

However, the heavy cost of agricultural civilization and industrial civilization in human society is the destruction of the earth's environment: the reduction of green plants, the extinction of rare animals and plants, overpopulation, the sharp decline of resources, soil erosion, alternating droughts and floods, natural disasters and ecological imbalance. In order to protect human beings and other creatures on the earth from the disasters caused by unreasonable human activities, we shout loudly: it is imperative to protect the earth and ecological environment!
