Huang Shuyi's acting experience

She married Fanggang Liu in 1969 and divorced in 1978. Fanggang Liu used to be the tutor of a training class for wireless artists, and also the tutor of many stars such as Carina Lau and Tony Leung Chiu Wai. He died at the end of 2004.

Since 2002, Huang Shuyi and Canada have been very busy, occasionally returning to Hong Kong to participate in TV and film performances. In 2005, he hosted a slimming program "My Soup, My Water" for TVB in Chinese mainland, which was well received by the audience.

Besides performing arts, Huang Shuyi also has some experience in writing and cooking. She has written columns for the double-star columns of Ming Pao Weekly and Oriental Daily, and her cooking skills are talked about by friends in the circle. In 2002, Gigi published her first cookbook, The Joy of Cooking in Huang Shuyi, and shared her 40-year cooking experience and cookbooks with friends. Sales exceeded 20,000 copies, making it the top ten bestseller list.
