Why are China people so influential in Africa?

Africa is a mottled drawing board. People usually think that Africa is a place with abundant resources and lazy people. Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, is a big construction site. Walking on the streets of Addis Ababa, local people often come up to greet, shake hands and touch shoulders in a friendly way (touching shoulders is a local friendship etiquette). From time to time to say "China people! Friends! " "China people are really amazing". Some people may want to say hello and make some money as a tour guide, but most of them are really envious, including the obligation to lead the way-there is no road number system in this country, and finding the exact address of the destination is a great challenge.

In the eyes of Ethiopians, China is a developed country, but for them, this development is very different from the United States they envied before: the American model is unattainable, but for Ethiopia, a country that has been poor, it is a "distant paradise", and its wealth can only be enjoyed by a few immigrant aristocrats, while the China model is within reach and is expected to be realized at home in its lifetime. For this reason, Ethiopia specially added a lesson to middle school textbooks in Asia: China used to be poor and backward in modern times, but in recent decades, it has created an economic miracle through cleverness and diligence. Since China can become rich from poverty, Ethiopia can also create an economic miracle. This passage has caused a great shock among Ethiopian youth, and many young people want to study in China.

Ethiopian think tanks and propaganda departments chose China and South Korea as the main research objects-mainly China, and began to produce documentaries from 20 14, which were broadcast on national television.
