Distribution area of pancakes

Pancakes are widely eaten in Shandong Province except Jiaodong and northern Jiangsu, especially in Linyi, Tai 'an, Laiwu, Yiyuan, Zaozhuang, Jining, Rizhao, Xuzhou, Lianyungang and Suqian, while in Jiaodong, tortillas and cakes are the staple foods. After 1990s, immigrants from Linyi and other places brought pancakes to Jiaodong.

Hebei, Northeast China and other places also eat pancakes, which is generally consistent with Shandong. The traditional northeast pancakes were handed down by Shandong people who traveled to Kanto, and now they have been improved. Not only as thin as paper, but also as strong.

Some places in Fujian also eat pancakes, and the practice has changed. Hakkas also eat pancakes.
