China ruled Vietnam for more than 1000 years. Why didn't you assimilate Vietnam?

China's 5,000-year prosperity depends on its strong culture and civilization, and it has been able to absorb and assimilate other ethnic groups in the long history. Moreover, these ethnic groups have basically been assimilated in about 300 years, and this cultural assimilation ability is the first in the world. But there are exceptions here, that is, Vietnam, which was ruled by China in ancient times for more than 1000 years, failed to assimilate Vietnam and made it an independent country now. Then the question is, why can't China assimilate Vietnam 1000 years? Actually, there are three main reasons.

But why Vietnam 1000 years has not been assimilated, but was founded independently in the Song Dynasty, and now it has become a strong country in Southeast Asia! Why on earth is this? Why can't China assimilate Vietnam 1000 years? There are three main reasons.

First, at the core, China immigrants.

Many people don't understand that southern places such as Guangdong and Guangxi are ruled like Vietnam. The former is assimilated, while the latter is not. Why? In fact, the most important point is Han Chinese immigrants. In ancient Guangdong, Annan and other places were wild and wild. Second, the Han people were slaughtered.

However, in the middle and late Tang Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty and Nanzhao fought a long-term tug-of-war in Annan area, which showed that a large number of Han people fought in Annan, causing great losses to the local Han people. In the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, there was a scuffle between the vassal regions, which made the Han people lose all their money. After the Han people in Annam disappeared, it happened that the Jing people took advantage of it and became bigger, which made the rule of 1000 fall short.

Third, geographical division.

In ancient times, it was agreed that Guangdong was wild to the extreme, so Annan, south of Guangdong, was even more wild. Moreover, the mountainous and rugged roads in northern Vietnam make the North Court's rule here very weak. Moreover, Vietnam's sky is high and the emperor is far away, so it is very easy to form a separatist regime and rebel forces, and it is also very difficult to return, and often the court is too lazy to take care of it.

So it was also because the court's control was not strong, which eventually made it independent in the Song Dynasty. In the Song Dynasty, it was too weak to recover after several battles, and it was simply forgotten.
