Personal anecdotes
After the Iranian Super League finals, Haddadi led the Mahram team to complete a huge comeback (0-2 behind) and won the championship with a total score of 3-2 . It also created the history of the Iranian League's first comeback to win the championship. Originally, the Mahram team lost two games first, and Azad team could win the championship as long as they win one more game. However, the series dragged all the way to Game 5.
The Mahram team, which had won two games in a row, did not give its opponent another chance and won the fifth game 95-92 in overtime. Haddadi scored 13 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists, helping the team win the Iranian Super League championship. The situation was similar to that in 2014. After Haddadi ended his time in the CBA, he chose to return to Iran to join the Mahram team.
Last year's finals were also five games. In the decisive battle, Haddadi scored a super double-double of 52 points and 16 rebounds, but the team unfortunately lost and missed the championship. Helping the team win the championship can be regarded as making up for last year's regrets. It is worth mentioning that this is already the sixth championship in the history of Mahram Club. In September 2009, Haddadi hosted a weekend basketball camp for children at the University of California, Northridge.
The training camp is mainly for Iranian American groups. The coaches include Haddadi himself, his manager Mayar Zokaei, Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest, and Iranian professional basketball players Behdad Sami and Benny Koochoie. The training camp attracted 120 children and was the first training camp initiated by Iranian athletes.
