Are immigrants foreigners?

Immigration refers to living, studying or working far away from home for a long time.

Immigration in a broad sense can refer to any place except hometown, not necessarily other countries. For example, the famous "Three Gorges Immigrants" in the late 1990s involved millions of people.

But at present, the immigrants we are talking about mainly refer to emigration, but we need to be clear that many immigrants only hold foreign long-term work visas, their nationality is still China, and they still hold China passports.
