How do Indonesians apply for visas when they come to China?

When applying for a visa, foreigners must answer questions and go through the following procedures:

1, provide a valid passport or a certificate that can replace the passport;

2. Fill in the visa application form and submit a recent 2-inch half-length bareheaded photo;

3. Submit certificates related to the application for entry and transit.

Foreigners who travel to China with visas must pass through the ports open to foreigners or designated by China, accept the inspection by the frontier inspection authorities, submit their valid passports and Chinese visas to the frontier inspection authorities, fill in the entry cards, and enter the country only after they have been examined and approved by the frontier inspection authorities and stamped with the entry inspection seal.

Foreigners who come to China with Chinese visas are not allowed to engage in activities that are inconsistent with their status in China, such as employment, religious propaganda, illegal interviews, etc. Offenders will be prosecuted. The Government of China protects the lawful rights and interests of foreigners in China. Foreigners in China must abide by the laws of China and respect the customs and habits of China.

Basic application materials

(1) Passport: original passport with blank visa page, passport photo page with validity of more than 6 months 1 copy.

(2) Visa application form and photos: People's Republic of China (PRC) visa application form 1 copy and recent, front, color (light background), bareheaded, passport photo 1 copy pasted on the application form.

(3) Proof of legal stay or residence (applicable to those who do not apply for a visa to their country of nationality): If they do not apply for a visa to their country of nationality, they must provide the original and photocopy of valid proof of legal stay, residence, work and study in their country.

(4) Original China passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who once had China nationality and later joined foreign nationality): If applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, the original China passport and a copy of passport photo page must be provided.

If you have obtained a Chinese visa and apply for a visa with a new foreign passport, you must provide the photo page of the original foreign passport and a copy of the obtained Chinese visa (if the name recorded in the new passport is inconsistent with the original passport, you must also provide relevant official documents to change your name).

Foreigners who come to China under any of the following circumstances may be exempted from obtaining a Chinese visa:

(1) Direct transit

Foreigners who directly transit from China on international flights with reserved connecting tickets and stay in transit cities for no more than 24 hours and do not leave the airport can be exempted from visas.

Citizens of the following countries, regardless of their passports, can stay in Shanghai for no more than 48 hours (they can leave the airport, but they must enter and leave Shanghai Hongqiao or Pudong Airport):

USA, Korea, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.

(2) Go to the Pearl River Delta and Hainan Island.

1. Foreigners who hold ordinary passports of countries that have diplomatic relations with China and are already in Hong Kong and Macao can enter the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong through travel agencies legally registered in Hong Kong and Macao (referring to the administrative regions under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing and Huizhou) and stay visa-free for less than 6 days.

2. Citizens of the following countries who hold ordinary passports and are registered in Hainan by an international travel agency approved by China National Tourism Administration (more than 5 people including 5 people) who travel to Hainan Province and stay for no more than 15 days may be exempted from visas:

USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Germany, Britain, France, Austria, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Japan and Singapore. Among them, Korean, German and Russian delegations with more than 2 people (including 2 people) can stay for 2 1 day.

(3) Citizens of Singapore, Brunei and Japan.

Citizens of Singapore, Brunei and Japan who come to Chinese mainland with ordinary passports for tourism, business, visiting relatives and friends or crossing the border for less than 15 days may be exempted from visas when entering China, which is open to foreigners. However, in the following cases, the visa must be completed in advance:

1, holding an ordinary passport to come to China for tourism, business, visiting relatives and friends, and the expected stay is more than 15 days;

2. Go to China for study, work, residence, official visit and interview with an ordinary passport;

3. Holding Japanese diplomatic and official passports.

(4) Holders of valid APEC business travel cards.

The APEC business travel card is equivalent to a three-year multiple visa. Cardholders may enter China for many times with their travel cards and valid passports that match the cards, and each stay shall not exceed 2 months.

(5) Hold valid permanent residence identity cards for China people and foreigners.

(6) Holding a valid alien residence permit issued by the public security organ of China.

Foreigners studying, working or working in China and foreign resident journalists must apply to the public security organs for foreigners' residence after entering the country. During the validity period of the residence permit, foreigners can stay in China and enter and leave the country for multiple times without having to apply for another visa.

(7) Foreigners who are exempted from visas according to bilateral agreements.
