What is the history of Singapore and China?

There are not many records in Singapore's early historical materials, and the names used are different. In ancient Singapore, the Malay name was Nijeli Serat. In the 3rd century, China called Singapore "Prolong", that is, "the island at the end of the peninsula". The book of the New Tang Dynasty is called Saludou, and the history of the Song Dynasty is called Chailiting. To this day, there are still Chinese in Singapore who call Singapore Shili. These names are all against Serat. According to historical records, in A.D. 1320, the Yuan Dynasty sent people to "Longyamen" to look for elephants, and in A.D. 1325, the envoys of Longyamen arrived in China. Zheng He's nautical chart, drawn in the fifth year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (1430), is called Temasek in Singapore, and Ode to Java History (1365) is also called Temasek in Singapore. A similar name appeared in a Vietnamese document in the same period. Simaxi and Temasek are antonyms of Malay Tamasik, which come from Sanskrit tamarasa (gold). It was not until the end of 14 that the Sanskrit name Singapura (meaning "Lion City") first appeared.

Siam (today's Thailand) and the Majapasi Empire in Java once competed for control of Singapore. According to the Malay literature Sejarah Melayu, Singapore was defeated in the war with the Manchu Boyi. But then, iskandar Shah, Prince of Sambuchi in Megaport, killed the local leader and declared himself the new ruler. Shortly thereafter, he was driven away. It is not clear whether Siamese or Javanese drove him away. After that, he fled to Mapo in the northern Malay Peninsula, where he established the Sultanate of Malacca, of which Singapore was an important part.
