Significance of Guangfulin Ancient Cultural Site

By the beginning of 2 1 century, the new discovery of primitive cultural archaeology at Guangfulin site in Songjiang caused a sensation in the archaeological community. First, it is basically proved that the ancient culture in the primitive society of the site mainly includes Songze culture, Liangzhu culture and Guangfulin culture. Among them, the discovery of Guangfulin culture supplements the composition series of Shanghai's ancient cultural civilization and adds a cultural site in the late Neolithic period to the area around Taihu Lake. Second, it is found that immigrants from the Yellow River valley live here. This is the first Shanghai immigrant discovered by archaeology, which has important research value for Shanghai with immigrants as the main body. Thirdly, it is found that there are urban settlements in Zhou Dynasty, which provides important information for studying the formation of Shanghai city. Fourthly, two types of primitive social housing sites, dry fence building and ground building, were discovered.
