Military service time in Singapore

Military service time is generally divided into the following stages:

1. Full-time service: 18 years old, officially enlisted as a full-time soldier, serving for two years. During his service, he will receive basic military training and be assigned to various units of Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Police Force or Singapore Civil Defence Force.

2. Combat readiness troops: retired from full-time service as combat readiness soldiers, but must return to camp for training 14 days every year within 10 years after retirement, and ensure that they pass the annual physical examination and physical fitness test. After retiring 10 years, it is not necessary to go back to camp for training every year, but it is still possible to be recalled to the military camp for training at any time until the age of 40.

3. Volunteers: Starting from 20 14, Singapore's military has increased volunteers, so that first-generation immigrants and women who are interested in joining the army can also perform military service. The service time of volunteers is 3 years, and they need to complete 100 hours of training every year.
