Puer Taiyanghe National Park is located 3 1 km southeast of Simao District, Puer City, Yunnan Province, and is a national AAAA tourist attraction. It is only 6 kilometers away from the South Island River entrance and exit of Xiao Si Expressway. The park covers an area of 2 16.23 square kilometers, and the forest coverage rate is 9 1.8%. 2 104 species of plants and 8 12 species of wild animals. The annual average temperature is 17.7, and the annual precipitation is mostly concentrated in May-June, and the precipitation exceeds 1500mm. The sunshine duration is about 2200 hours, and the total solar radiation is 130000 calories/cm2. Geologically, it belongs to the south and southeast sections of Tanggula-Changdu-Lanping-Simao fold system and is a part of Simao Basin.
