-A glimpse of the symposium on Liang Jun's novel A Dream in Sydney.
July is an important season, and there is bound to be an unusual meeting on the 7th.
Warm masculinity, just the right time, just the right fate, 201July 7, 9 1:30, Liang Jun's novel A Dream in Sydney was held in Ashfield? Held grandly.
White clouds are floating in the blue sky, and poetic souls are surging under the warm sun in winter. Mr. Liang Jun used ink to cook love, and the flowers were full of fruits, and literary friends came to a literary feast.
Why did the famous scholar Dr. Huai come? Ms. Shi, a famous editor and writer, Zhang, president of Xinzhou Chinese Writers Association, and An Hong, vice president, Mr. Xu Yongqun, president of Sydney Beijing Association, and Ms. He, a famous writer, also made a special trip from Canberra. Tian Tian, Tian Shensheng, Yi 'an, Qian Jinghua, Jia Hong and many other literary celebrities and predecessors came one after another, which showed the attraction of the seminar on Mr. Liang Jun's works and the cohesion of Xinzhou Writers Association.
Literary friends who have never met but have been friends for many years meet here with their books and exotic scenery. Whether it's gorgeous writing or plain language, whether it's bright feelings or bleak brushwork, today, let's get together in the name of literature. In Sydney, a great and romantic city, the literary palace is still sacred, and people who go to the appointment are full of awe and piety.
Code words fly ink, talk about dreams on paper
Mr Liang Jun introduced his original intention of writing and the writing process of this novel. His narrative is like painting a literary boat in the waves of the world of mortals. There are accumulation of materials, control of themes, silent persistence and natural and simple inspiration. While telling the magnificent life stories of the characters in the book, he also stirred up ripples in the Australian literary world and found his own position.
Overseas Chinese writing needs an environment of telling the truth and critical comments. Under the infiltration of multi-culture, Mr. Liang Jun has a heart that not only listens to hymns, but also longs for pertinent suggestions.
Why Professor Huai, a famous critic, took the lead in speaking, not only affirmed Mr. Wang's novels, but also expressed his unique views on the universal value and creative inspiration of his works. Zhang, Chairman of Writers Association, made suggestions on breaking through the limitation of thinking and innovating writing mode. Ms. Shi, a famous writer, used to be the editor of Wen Wei Po, and made pertinent comments on the language features and character structure of her works. The fine works of literary and artistic creation have scales and scenes, but there is no end and peak. There is no end to creative innovation, and writers should constantly climb from one height to another. The narrator is eloquent and the listener listens enthusiastically.
The comments on the stage expressed their opinions, and the literary friends under the stage benefited a lot. This is a paradise for writing, where people express their feelings with friends in words. Some friends have been friends for a long time, but they have never met. How many Wan Li are there from China to Sydney? Today, we can meet in a foreign country, and this rare fate must be cherished.
Beautiful and elegant is a woman who uses time to brew wine and make words blossom. She once wrote the novel 400 Degrees of Life with hundreds of thousands of words. Naturally, professional writers analyzed Mr. Liang Jun's works with in-depth textual research, original opinions and frank attitude. When she was reading A Dream of Sydney, she also took out a personal relationship chart, which shows that she has serious comments and good reading habits. Her interpretation and analysis of the works not only won the approval of Mr. Liang Jun, but also made all the audience present nod.
Fortunately, as a guest book reviewer, I have crystallized my reading of A Dream in Sydney into an aesthetic theory, and paid more attention to the hardships and mental journey behind Mr. Liang Jun's creation of this long masterpiece, which has the power of faith and the initial persistence. Approach his writing, listen to his story and interpret his creative background.
Economic globalization has become an organic whole, population mobility and migration have become the norm, and the blending and impact of multiculturalism have made writers bear greater responsibilities and missions. Literature is not only the historical memory and emotional carrier of a country, but also the cultural highland and spiritual torch of the Chinese nation. As a thoughtful man, he is not only a reed of thought, but also an awakening of life, self and soul. Australia's beautiful natural environment may make the heart and lungs breathe comfortably, but only a firm belief in the heart can inject fresh oxygen into the soul. I am very glad that my book review was approved by Mr. Liang Jun and published in the Australian-Chinese Literature Network and Chinese newspapers in Sydney.
Thanks to the activities organized by the Writers Association, sitting there quietly listening seems to have returned to the starting point of my dream. Make friends with Wen, have good learning opportunities, and be full of spirit.
Writing may not necessarily change our material life, but it can certainly nourish our hearts and souls, narrow the distance between us and morality, conscience, freedom and kindness, and finally present the humanistic value we are striving for.
Today, in the name of literature, we gather here to keep warm and learn from each other.
Let gathering become the post and starting point of literary journey: immerse yourself in books today and revel in rhymes tomorrow.
Attached is the book review I wrote for Mr. Liang Jun:
Have faith in your heart? Words have power.
-Comment on Mr. Liang Jun's Sydney Dream
Blue and white porcelain
Writing is the most wonderful thing in the world. It can record history, express ideas and build bridges between people.
I have never met Mr. Liang Jun, and a book, A Dream of Sydney, became an opportunity for us to meet in a foreign country.
After I got this book, I forgot to eat and sleep. This is a colorful Chinese dream-chasing scroll in Sydney, which truly presents the survival anxiety and happiness of overseas immigrants in all directions.
Sydney's dream pursuit is a trek from the scene of life to the depths of human nature. Through the display and description of the fate of the characters in the novel, it conveys a writer's thinking and warmth to society. Reading Mr. Liang Jun's works, I feel that he maintains a lonely and diligent mentality in his writing, wandering freely between "hometown" and "foreign land" and living on the other side, broadening his horizons and enriching his life. Standing on the height of realism, with the unique brushwork as the fulcrum and the experience of living in Australia as the latitude and longitude, he drew a vivid ukiyo-e painting of immigrants.
Overseas immigrants live like a river, crossing mountains and rivers and entering the blue sea under the blue sky and white clouds. It seems quiet and comfortable here, but in fact, the mud and sand are mixed, and the undercurrent is surging under the calm sea.
On the surface, the life of immigrants is radiant, but there is an unknown bitterness behind the glory, which cannot be touched. This novel focuses on this state, a sense of suspension that only people living in Sydney can feel: on the one hand, it is the call of dreams in the sky, on the other hand, it is the difficulty of living on the earth.
Vivid characters and vivid stories are the two highlights of this novel.
The characters in Mr. Liang Jun's works are almost within reach, whether it is Peng Gang, a hard-working taxi driver, or William Huang, who makes trouble for international students at home; Whether it's Miss Tian who lost herself for the green card, or Mr. Liu and Mrs. Liu who are inseparable, they seem to live beside us, not far away at all. In the crowded Chinatown, in the corridors of office buildings, in the coffee shops on street corners, and beside the wine tables in restaurants, the shadows of the characters in the books can be seen almost everywhere.
The accumulation of knowledge and materials, such as studying abroad, working, skilled immigrants, intermediaries, gangs, fake marriages, green cards, passports, election bills, etc., makes Mr. Liang Jun skillfully weave contradictions and conflicts in various life scenes of character relations, promote plot development, and highlight the characters, which is a comprehensive consideration of the writer's artistic skills.
Under the scenery, the ups and downs are full; Behind the prosperity is darkness.
Mr. Liang Jun wrote about the shock when Dr. Shen's family first came to Australia and the joy when they got the green card. On the other hand, it describes the gap between him becoming a wage earner from a domestic university professor and Mrs. Shen becoming a fish seller from a senior judge.
The beauty of detail is the standard of a good novel.
There are many details in Peng Gang's personality, such as the fatigue of serving various customers all day, the embarrassment of being harassed by homosexuals, and the sour crush on Judy. Taobao, together with Liu and Liu, was deeply fooled by the cultural relics circle again and again. Judy was dragged to join hands in mining, but she was injured in a car accident because of a kangaroo on the way, and the plan to make a fortune was ruined again and again. They struggle to survive in the cracks and rise and fall in the sea of people, all of which are closely linked in Mr. Liang Jun's works, which makes people immersive.
Judy, the female representative, has written a lot about the author. She is not only outstanding in appearance, but also high in emotional intelligence. She takes part-time jobs as well as graduate school, especially receiving government delegations from China as tour guides. She is generous and clever, not only taking care of the needs of director Pan, but also helping her followers out of the predicament. Although she works hard in Sydney alone, she is self-reliant and independent.
People can be said to be a "thermometer" to measure a place and a barometer to reflect local life. Through the work and family life of Mr. and Mrs. Liu, the novel shows their longing and expectation, and also truly expresses the pressure and agitation of middle-aged people.
When it's quiet, it's just my tears and hardships. When you embark on the road of immigration, you don't want to look back. After all, this is the world you want, and there is everything you want here.
These overseas Chinese all have a multicultural character of being at home in the world and doing well in everything. They don't go with the flow like duckweed, but like dandelions, they take root with brave umbrellas.
Mr. Liang Jun looks at all kinds of immigrants from all walks of life from the vivid perspective of each individual, which shows his mastery of themes, materials and structures.
The meaning of immigration is to choose a good tree to live. The meaning of life is to be willing to crawl on the ground, work hard for your dreams, and find yourself on the way to chasing dreams, live high. ...
* * * has gone through hardships, making these China people trust each other and unite more. At the end of the book, they travel by luxury cruise ship, which indicates that these China people with yellow skin and black eyes will continue to write their magnificent life stories in Sydney, a great and romantic city.
Literary creation is by no means a word game. I appreciate Mr. Liang Jun's forceful expression of his inner beliefs. This is the most vivid and energetic breath conveyed by outstanding overseas writers to the Chinese community, and it also shows that literature and art are the endless spiritual torch of the Chinese nation.
I hope and expect Mr. Liang Jun to write more and better excellent works.
