Xifeng district scenic spots and historical sites

Dong Zhiyuan is located in the easternmost part of Gansu and the center of the Loess Plateau. The platform surface is flat and the platform edge is broken. Because of its thickest loess accumulation (more than 200 meters), the most complete tableland, the largest area (9 10 square kilometers) and a long history of farming, it is known as "the first loess tableland in the world".

Nanxiaohegou

Nanxiaohegou is located on the west bank of Dong Zhiyuan, 3 kilometers away from Xifeng City/KLOC-0. It is known as a piece of jade embedded in the loess plateau with vertical and horizontal ravines and steep valley slopes. Nanxiaohegou watershed covers an area of 36.3 square kilometers, which is the base of Xifeng Soil and Water Conservation Station of the Yellow River Committee for half a century to study the law of soil erosion, and is also a model of small watershed management in China.

Beigrotto temple

The Northern Cave Temple (formerly known as Sigou) is located 25 kilometers southwest of Xifeng, on the east bank of the intersection of Ruhe River and Puhe River, covering the cliff on the west side of Zhongshan Mountain. Grottoes are composed of Shidaopo, Huaying Cliff, Yadong Grottoes, Loudi Village Grottoes and Sigou Grottoes, among which Sigou Grottoes are the most concentrated, magnificent and magnificent. The cave group is excavated on the stone wall with a height of about 20m and a length of120m, with three layers. It spreads to the west wing with the cave 165 as the center, and looks like a honeycomb, with steps cut according to the situation. In most caves and niches, there used to be painted murals, but now a few caves still have remnants. According to experts' research, the northern cave temples have been carved for more than 1,500 years in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Western Wei Dynasty, the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. The North Cave Temple is now a national key cultural relic protection unit, one of the four largest caves in Gansu, and a famous tourist attraction.

Small kongtong

Xiaotongtong is located on the Dong Zhiyuan River, 9 kilometers south of Xifeng District. It is a "natural specimen garden" on the loess plateau in Longdong, and also a rare scenic spot in the loess gully region. The overall planning of the Small Kongtong Scenic Area was completed by Shaanxi Urban and Rural Design and Research Institute in March 2000. The planned total area is 65,438+094 hectares, including 65,438+002 hectares of management area and 65,438+065,438+06 hectares of peripheral protection area, which are divided into five functional areas, six scenic spots and 21 scenic spots.

Laodong Xianshan scenic spot

In the east, the distance between Kowloon and the beacon tower of the Zhou Dynasty echoes from afar. Wucheng Castle, buried in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties in the West, lurks at its tail. There are four famous mountains in the south, which are in the same breath as Xiangyun in the "May 8th" Sheung Shui Project. There are Neolithic Yangshao cultural sites in Jinji Lingjun and Siya in the north. It shows the artistic conception of the first phase project of Wang Xiadong and Shanyuan.

Longdong farming folk culture village

Longdong farming folk culture village is located in the north gate of Xiaolongdong, a typical courtyard of Yazhuang in Longdong, with the original mountain facing the sun and a brick on the back of the cliff reaching the top. Gong Liu was the tribal leader who laid the foundation of the Zhou Dynasty and the pioneer of China's farming civilization. Gongliu sculpture is the highlight of Longdong Folk Culture Village.

Bajiazui Reservoir Dam

Bajiazui Reservoir Dam is located in Bajiazui, the middle reaches of Puhe River, west of Xifeng, the third tributary of the Yellow River 15km. It is a giant loess dam with a height of 74m, a length of 539m, a bottom width of 404m and a top width of 6m. It is called "the first loess dam in Asia".

East lake park

Donghu Park is a large comprehensive amusement park in Qingyang City. Located in the prosperous section of the north section of Jiulong Road in Xifeng District, it covers an area of about 458.0438+0 mu, with scenic spots such as peaks, lakes, pavilions and bridges and recreational facilities such as water, land and air.
