The Origin of the Name of Zhangbalangzhai Village in Quzhou County
Ming moved to the village where Wang Balang, an immigrant, first settled, and named it Wang Balang Village. Quzhou County belongs to Handan City, Hebei Province. Located in the Heilonggang River Basin of Haihe Plain at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain in southern Hebei Province, northeast of Handan City. The name of Zhangbalangzhai Village in Quzhou County originated from the People's Village, which moved its capital in Ming Dynasty. The immigrant king Balang was the first to settle down and named the village Wang Balang Village. Later, the relocated people were divided into four small villages, namely Wangbalang Village, Rentun Village, Qinpu Village and Lizhai Village, and later merged into Wangbalang Village, and then divided into Qianbalang Village and Houbalang Village.
