There are many Japanese staying in China, and there are basically four kinds of people:

The third is the Japanese army, which was reformed by the National Government after the war and later took part in China's civil war (the War of Liberation). For example, at that time, Wang Yan Xishan of Shanxi was controlled by the "death squads" and so on. After the civil war, the organization was partly destroyed, partly repatriated, and most of the rest became China people.

The fourth is a Japanese soldier in wartime. During the war, some of them gave up their original Japanese nationality, joined China nationality and became China people, either because of just aggression after education or because they actively defected to the anti-Japanese armed forces.
