Before you apply for a visa, you need to know where you are going to apply. Applying for a Mexican visa in China is divided into four regions.

1 Beijing Territory: It is applicable to private passports of Beijing, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Tianjin, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan.

Shanghai consular district: it is applicable to Mexican visa applicants with private passports in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces.

Guangzhou consular district: It is applicable to applicants from Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Yunnan Province who apply for Mexican visas for private passports.

Visiting relatives visa refers to the visa that the applicant applies for visiting relatives and friends in Mexico. The validity period is similar to the length of stay and tourist visa. The validity period is from one month to ten years, and the stay time is determined by the embassy. The application materials are the same as the tourist visa preparation materials, except that you need to prepare additional invitations or letters from relatives and friends. If you don't have these, you can issue a certificate to prove your kinship.

Four. Application process

1. Bring the receipt (reservation confirmation letter generated by Mexitel) and all the above materials to the embassy according to the appointment time.

Hand in the materials at the reception window.

2. Collect biological information while submitting materials (take photos and enter electronic fingerprints).

3. Conduct a brief consular interview to confirm whether the conditions and visa requirements are consistent, so as to approve the visa.

4. If the interview result is successful, a bill indicating the visa amount (36 dollars according to the federal fee regulations) will be given, and the expected date and time of receiving the visa will also be indicated.

5. The applicant must pay in China Bank and return the bank payment receipt to the embassy, and put it into the special mailbox at the entrance guard of the embassy.

6. The applicant must come in person to get the visa at the appointed date and time, and bring a photo copy of the identity certificate.

Five: experience in applying for signing a contract.

First of all, let's talk about the reservation system of the Mexican embassy. I have to say this system is really tiring. I have contacted many friends before, not to mention making an appointment to send an email. Even the website may collapse at any time! If you go in, you will be kicked out. If you are lucky, it will be done in a day or two, and it is not too much to get stuck for a week.

So if you are in a hurry, it is recommended to find a travel company or visa agent to do it, and basically you can interview the next day.

Another thing that needs to be spit out is the efficiency of the embassy. In fact, the procedure of submitting materials and interviewing on the same day is very simple, that is, the existing staff will review the materials, and if there is no problem, they will take photos, collect fingerprints and finally interview. It takes about 40 minutes for everyone to complete the seemingly simple link, so everyone must be patient.

If the interview goes well, we will get a white payment slip, and then go to China Bank to fill out the form for payment. Because the visa fee for the entire embassy area in Sanlitun has to be paid at this point, it is very important to suggest that you must take the number first and wait in line after the interview, otherwise it will be gone after a long time. Don't think that it will be easy to pay the last fee, then you will suffer.

Finally, get a visa. Usually, the Mexican embassy asks you to get the visa in person. After the interview, the embassy will give you a temporary receipt as proof. Of course, if you accidentally lose it, you can take your ID card directly to get it.

Some friends may come from other places, so it is inconvenient to go back and forth. In this case, you can try to ask the visa officer for a power of attorney, that is, a certificate entrusted by a friend. This kind of certificate is a very legal requirement, but the embassy will not give it under normal circumstances, which is probably to test everyone's sincerity ~

But this has no effect on the visa result, so don't worry.

Mexico is rich in natural products and full of exotic flavor. You can experience different natural environment and humanistic feelings, and you will definitely have a good travel experience.
