What is the origin of Taiwan Province Province and Minnan?

There are three major ethnic groups in Taiwan Province Province: other provinces, southern Fujian and Hakka.

Among them, Minnan people are the largest ethnic group (although they are all mixed now)

Most Minnan people immigrated to Taiwan Province from Fujian Province, and the time points were mostly distributed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Zheng Chenggong was the army in the Ming Dynasty, and Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong were the majority in the Qing Dynasty.

There are three ethnic groups of Han nationality in Taiwan Province Province, Heluo (also known as Fulao and Helao), other provinces (accounting for almost 5% of the total population) and Hakkas (almost 15%). In addition, there are almost 1% aborigines (that is, what we call Gaoshan, actually 14 tribe), and Heluo and Hakkas are collectively called aborigines in this province.

Among them, Heluo, another name of Fujian Minnan people, immigrated from Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou in southern Fujian.

Ancient Taiwan Province Province was subordinate to Quanzhou Prefecture of Fujian Province. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Taiwan Province Province was established only after Minnan people drove the Dutch away.
