Can I study when I move?

Children can apply to study in the United States.

F4 visa refers to brothers and sisters of American citizens aged 2 1 or above. Applicants submit F4 immigration applications to USCIS in the United States. F4 visa application is divided into four stages, namely P 1, P2, P3 and P4.

P 1 stage

When applying for relative immigration, the applicant will prepare all the materials and submit the application I- 130 to the local immigration processing center in the United States. Then, he will get the receipt of the application, and the document number is P 1, which means I- 130. There will be three English capital letters plus the number 10. The three English letters are EAC or WAC or SRC or LIN.

P2 stage

After hearing the case, the Immigration Bureau obtained the approval certificate P2(P2 sample is similar to P 1) and mapped the original P2 approval notice I-797. The application materials are transferred to NVC. At this time, a new case number will be obtained, that is, GUZ number, which consists of GUZ plus 10 digits. Then, there is a long wait, waiting for the timetable of immigration. The immigration schedule will probably be six months to one year ago (different categories, different times)

★ Formal immigration formalities: DS-3032 address, confirmed by the agent.

NVC will send an address and agency confirmation form named DS-3032 to relatives in the United States. Many applicants or beneficiaries have changed their addresses because of the long period of relatives' appointment. Therefore, NVC in the United States is afraid that the applicant's address has changed, and NVC will not be informed, resulting in failure to receive this form. The United States will send the same DS-3032 to the United States and China, and the United States will receive it first. At this time, the beneficiaries in China will also receive a copy.

(Because the waiting time of F4 is usually more than 10 years, many friends default the DS-3032 table (designated agent and address confirmation table) to F4' s P 1. )

One month after completing the DS3032 form and paying the bill of $70, nvc will send the bill of visa fee of $400, and one month after paying the bill of $400, NVC will send the package P3.

P3 stage

P3 contains:

1, p3 supplementary form (this form was cancelled in P3 package in September 2008)

I didn't receive P3' s supplementary form when I received P3, so I went to the relevant website to select GUZ's number, printed and filled it out, and sent it back to NVC together with all the materials.

2.DS 230-I, DS230II (this form may need to be downloaded from the American immigration website yourself). Click to view the DS-230 I sample.

3. Ask for payment of the instructions on the completed EMS express.

(Note: Please fill in this EMS clearly and remember the single number. Your P4 will be sent together with this number. Remember, when booking a single number, you can call 1 1 185 to check whether it is P4. EMS has been sent to the local post office to buy, one yuan each. The EMS bill must be blank, and be careful not to stamp the official seal of the local post office in advance, because the mailing place must be Guangzhou, and the EMS bill stamped with the seal of the foreign post office is invalid)

4. Copy of passport

Since 2007, the passport cannot be extended, and it can only be reissued. Adult passports are valid for 10 years, and children's passports under 16 are valid for 5 years. Once the address is determined, it must be done in advance. )

5. Ask the American guarantor to do a good job.

NVC, the 864 life guarantee document, revised the necessary materials of P3 and added some necessary materials to reduce the burden of Guangzhou Meiling. The following materials were added in P3 stage:

6. Birth notarization

(Birth notarization can be done well when applying for immigration before, and it is valid for life. )

7. Two visa photos.

(Visa photo requirements: 50*50 mm, the head position must be in the middle of 25-35 mm, bareheaded, and earrings or sunglasses are not allowed. Each visa applicant must have a photo, and write down the passport pinyin name of the photo owner in pencil at the bottom of the visa photo so that the immigration officials can identify it. )

8. Notarization does not punish.

(Notarization without penalty is valid for only one year, and must be submitted by every visa applicant above 16).

There are two options for notarization:

(1) Go to the municipal notary office (the municipal notary office can also handle the certificate of no criminal record and notarization at the same time, saving time and cost like the provincial notary office for your reference).

(2) After obtaining the certificate of no crime, you can go to the provincial notary office with the household registration book (original+copy of the first page and personal page of the household registration book) and ID card (original+copy). Fee ***260 yuan (in triplicate, including both Chinese and English versions), which will be collected one week later (or call the number on the receipt to contact the notary). Note that you can only do it during office hours, and you can't do it on weekends.

9. Marriage notarization

(Marriage notarization is valid for life. Those who divorce and remarry after applying for immigration should apply for a new marriage notarization, and those who apply for CR/IR immigration should also apply for a divorce notarization. ) After all the information in P3 package is completed, send it back to NVC and wait for one or two months.

P4 stage

After receiving P4, prepare materials according to P4's requirements:

Beneficiaries in China need to prepare:

Notarization of kinship, birth of all, marriage, unmarried accompanying children (notarized for sons aged 22 and daughters aged 20),/kloc-unmarried notarized for persons over 0/6.

Declaration (if a divorced person immigrates with a child under 16, a sample declaration must be prepared). Photos of China's main beneficiaries and American applicants from childhood to adulthood (very important).

American applicants need to prepare:

As the guarantee is only valid for one year, the guarantor and the deputy guarantor (if necessary) must prepare the guarantee documents:

The tax bill for the last three years (a copy signed by the guarantor is enough) and the employer's letter are mailed to the beneficiary in China for signature in person. If there is a sub-guarantee, you must prepare a statement letter of the sub-guarantee. The statement letter must state how many people you sponsored to go to the United States, and their names must be listed. The letter must also explain the relationship between the sub-guarantee and the American applicant, and explain why you are willing to be the sub-guarantor of the beneficiary in China, and if possible, provide photos of the main and sub-guarantees.
